About Perfect Vision Eyecare and Eyewear
Perfect Vision Eyecare & Eyewear is pleased to offer a wide range of optometric services, and eye care products including eyeglasses, specialty eyewear, frames, and contact lenses. Our staff is happy to help however we can.

Meet the Doctors
Abby Henderson, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Abby Henderson was raised in Canton, Texas, and graduated with honors from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Biochemistry. She went on to earn a Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. While in Optometry school, she received multiple awards and scholarships including special recognition for excellence in pediatric eye care, contact lens fitting, and low vision. In addition, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Optometric Fraternity. Dr. Henderson is nationally board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and state board-certified glaucoma specialist.
Dr. Henderson completed a Clinical Externship at Hellerstein and Brenner Vision Center in Centennial, Colorado where she trained in pediatric eye care, contact lens fittings, and comprehensive eye examinations. She then went on to complete another Clinical Externship at BridgeBuilders Eye Clinic in Dallas, Texas where she gained experience in treatment for ocular injuries and diseases including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, uveitis, and many other conditions. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
Dr. Henderson enjoys seeing patients of all ages and is currently accepting new patients. She is passionate about treating myopia progression in children and addressing dry eye symptoms in all patients. Dr. Henderson currently lives near Sugar Land and when not at the office enjoys spending time with her family. Her husband Jason is a school administrator at a private school in the Sugar Land area. Together they have 3 children: Declan-age 8, Riley-age 6 and Connor- age 1.
Huy Pham, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Huy Pham obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. Following his time at UT Austin, he received his doctorate and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
In his final year, he completed two prestigious clinical rotations in Dallas and San Diego. The rotations emphasized primary care and the treatment and management of posterior ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts for a largely indigent population. The rotations also had an emphasis on dry eye and specialty contact lenses including scleral lenses.
In his time post-graduation, he has incorporated myopia management, ortho-k, and specialized dry eye treatments, including the new Lipiflow treatment.
Dr. Pham is a friendly, outgoing person who is truly passionate about optometry and stays up to date with the newest and latest technology to provide the best experience for patients. His favorite part about the job is spending extra time with the patients, getting to know them, and seeing them back year after year.
When Dr. Pham isn’t hanging out with patients, he is making music, reading comics, traveling around the world, and eating delicious food.
Sheryl Pickering, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Sheryl is a graduate of the University of Houston and has been in practice also for over 30 years. She specializes in contact lens fitting including bifocal contacts and lenses for astigmatism. In addition to her contact lens expertise, she is also a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Sheryl is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, Harris County Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Sports Vision. She is also an active member of The Federation of Houston Professional Women and the Women’s Business Support Network.
When not in the office, she volunteers her time helping the Animal Justice League.
Mark Pickering, O.D.
Emeritus Optometrist
After 30+ years in practice, Dr. Mark Pickering retired in December 2021. Although we miss seeing him in the office, we know he is enjoying retirement! He still plays softball regularly and continues to support all Houston sports teams- especially the Astros!
